MY CERAMIC JOURNEY
How it began
My first touch of clay was as a very young child in school growing up in California. From the first touch I was smitten and couldn't wait for art lessons and the chance to not only draw and paint but to create with clay too. I still have my first creations from school, a terracotta clay hand print plate, a bizarre dinosaur and a turtle, full of glued together broken parts and chips because I couldn't bear to be parted from them. To this day I absolutely adore kid's art and ceramic work because I can remember back to the joy and fun I had creating with my hands.
