RUSTIC REDS AND BLUES
Using a toasty lightly speckled stoneware these designs have been individually patterned, coloured and cut out free hand with a potters knife and arranged into the designs you see before being finished and formed into the simple shaped clay canvas you see. Each piece takes me several hours to create. These designs are inspired by flowers and my love of nature.
PIECES OF ME
Pieces Of Me are my abstract range of ceramic bowls made entirely with individually marked, coloured and cut out abstract shapes set out in the designs you see and given a backdrop of the natural colour of the clay.The back drop is also made of seperately cut out and joined pieces with rough edges giving the bowls a cracked appearance from the front but are joined at the back. Made with earthenware clay these have been finished with a glossy glaze which is food safe.
FUNK THE FLOWERS
My Funk the Flowers are made by individually patterning, colouring and cutting funky floral shapes and arranging them into even more interesting patterns on a simple shape which acts as a canvas for the designs. The background colour is the natural colour of the clay and the pieces are finished off with a matt transparent glaze. They can be used as a decorative piece or functional and the glaze is food safe.
PAISLEY POLKAS
Fluted edges, paisley patterns and multi coloured polka dots. Earthenware coloured with underglazes with the natural colour of the clay revealed in the background and finished with a food safe glossy glaze.

I am currently working on new Paisley Polka colours of Orange Sorbet, Electra Blue. I am also developing Paisley Polkas in a white and a grey stoneware, Watch this space!
